Luke 10 : 2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest ? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Thank you for entering the Missions Opportunities page. There are many opportunities in 2003 and beyond for you, your church or your group. So take a look around the world and see where the Lord would have you experience a harvest for Him. You will never be the same again.

1. Jamaica, West Indies

Tent Crusades, Praise and Worship and Children’s Ministry

We will have 12 Crusades in Jamaica this year. These will be tent crusades lasting from two to six weeks or longer as the Lord allows. There will be two tents set up. One will be the main tent for praise and worship and the other for children’s ministry, games, music and message.

We will need praise and worship teams for the main tent. You may come one, two, three or as a group and stay as long as you like. You can stay one day or as long as you feel the Lord leading. The same goes for the children’s ministry.

During the day, the praise and worship teams will be working with the locals to teach them music ministry and worship ministry and the same with the children’s ministry teams. We are also going to have youth nights during these crusades and will need youth praise bands and teams.

Vacation Bible School

There will be 6 VBS schools going on at the same time. They will take place in July. We will need at least 32 people to volunteer for this, plus there will be help from the locals. If you have never done this, it will be a life changing experience and one of the greatest blessings you will ever experience.

Medical Missions

We are going to do several of these this year as the Lord leads. We will need Doctors and Nurses to do minor medical such as health checkups, medicines and one day clinics. Medical major assessment such as surgery needed but unable to perform or afford. Also, a dentist to do dental checkups and eye doctors for vision checkups. Hygiene training and general preventive medical education will be part of this ministry. Our first Medical Clinics will take place during the Vacation Bible Schools in the month of July. The first team will be eight members consisting of Doctors and Nursing staff.

Construction teams.

There are five churches that need repairs. Several with no bath room facilities, and some with a need for Sunday School space. Some communities will be new works that need complete facilities. There will several homes / shelter construction teams needed.

Ministry training

There are all kinds of training opportunities available. The locals wish to be trained and here are just a few areas they desire training in:

Teachers

We have a unique opportunity if you are a public teacher. You will be able to teach your grade and subject in the the Jamaican schools. As well, you will be able to present the Gospel message to your class.
